We walked the seafront this morning and the impact of Storm Brendan was very evident. Quite a few of the heavy concrete blocks which cap the sea wall were dislodged and many on the beach and large channels had been gouged out by the water in the shingle and sand. Video from YouTube gives an idea of the force of it all yesterday.

Have you seen the clip of a guy swimming in it all? I know a few folk do swim all through winter but really?

Didn't see that one but did see a guy riding his bike on the cycle path, v impressive.
Very silly more like. That bike and the cars will take a right hammering from the salt and sand water.
A quick way to emulate the dissolvability of a 1970s Lancia.
