Post-Match Thread and Ratings Southend United 0-1 Mansfield

Rather glad we lost our smart view connection at half time!

Didn't think we were too bad first half, but the tiredness showed in a number of players - that was always going to be an issue for our older players with so many games close together.

We've been unfortunate to have two such good opposition teams in consecutive matches as well.

If ever there was a time they needed us back in the stadium behind them, it's now so we've got to be vocal the only way we can at the moment, on social media, with positive messages.

And what makes you think he would do anything differently? He criticised Neil Warnock’s style when taking over at Cardiff, so clearly isn’t going to play the ‘experienced manager’ 4-4-2 hoofball tactics that the anti-MM brigade are desperate for and think is the answer to all of our problems.

Apart from that he’s just been sacked on the back of six defeats in a row at Cardiff. He has no experience of saving a club from relegation. He Would be too expensive. And he wouldn’t want to come here anyway.

but apart from that.......???

I hope not, Fisher's last gasp goal changed our season. A victory against one of the better teams in the division who we had outplayed would have set us up well and given our morale the boost it needed at a vital time.
No i do remember that and your right we did play well both halves.

Sadly a one off tho :(
