Post-Match Thread and Ratings Southend United 1-0 Scunthorpe

Today's win, the results around us and the news before the game we all wanted to hear has a "season turnaround" moment feeling to it. Thought it was a game that lacked any real quality but for the goal which was a fantastic strike from Olayinka. Macca was immense once again, his leadership alone makes us better and despite being 37 he is always involved at both ends of the pitch. Superb! Sam Hart ran himself in to the ground and showed glimpses of what he has to offer and why we all have found memories of his first time at the club. Can't wait for him to get fully match fit, will be a big player for us going forward.

totally agree.
Again macca's 2nd half better than the 1st, even though clearly puffing.
Really nice goal. JDs Cross picked out oliyanka along the floor and a composed finish. I
Good to see JD forward and good to see first time shot with confidence
