A very good display from the boys today. In the first had we had them on the rack and could easily had more than the 2 goal lead if we had taken our chances and probably our best 45mins of the season. I think we all new that they would not be the same in the second half and so it proved, having said that we battled so hard in that last 45 minutes to deservedly take the full 3 points.

Some points to be dropped there by our challengers?

The best results for us would I think be Eastleigh to lose and Rochdale and Alty to draw. Then next Saturday it is Oldham v Rochdale which Rochdale must lose. Unfortunately we are away to Forest Green which won't be easy.

To be honest we no longer have a realistic chance of reaching the play offs now that Rochdale have finally started winning, but at least it keeps the interest going as we embark on our final ten games of the season.

I can't believe it. We won a league game on a Saturday at 3pm.

Solid performance from everyone. Can't decide who for MotM because nobody really put a foot wrong. Glad HT stopped Gus from knocking that twit Linney out, because that would have been a unnecessary .

As for rankings, I sometimes struggle to see the other side of the pitch from where I sit, so I won't rank individually, but I wouldn't give anyone on the pitch today below a 7 from what I saw. Edit: except for Gubbins and Waldron, who looked just out of it.

It was a terrible pass to Golding in his defence. That ball has to go line at that point of the game.

Certainly felt we carried some passengers those last 10 minutes. Waldron is miles off this level unfortunately.

Hopper, Morton, KAF & Golding excellent today. That first half was as good as we’ve been all year.
