Post-Match Thread and Ratings Southend United 2-1 Kings Lynn

A last minute penalty makes in 3 league wins in a row. Sounded like we were on top for most of the game and, for once, got a fortunate decision go our way.

Four wins from the last six games. Next three games against Aldershot, Dover and Barnet could give us a nose bleed as we climb the table, or send us back to reality with a bump.

3 on the trot and sounds like Husin and Caldwell are top acquisitions. Starting to look up the table not down and a corner turned?

Sounds like Husin can play further forward as well

Not the best game you’re ever going to see but apart from a few chances from Kings Lynn, we were by far on top. Davies, Cardwell and Husin all looked good signings.

This team should just keep improving as time goes on.

One final note:

THREE. LEAGUE. WINS. IN. A. ROW!

???

Blimey Best signing of the week was kept under the radar, we have a ref on the books!!!

Great win, again loads of character coming through from the team.

Cardwell is a great signing, will cause loads of problems against opposition defences. Hobson another great performance.

Arnold maintained his concentration superbly and kept us in it at times.

Everyone shows pride in the shirt now and once again the positivity was there to see.

Fantastic!

Onto Aldershot!

About time we got a decision from NL Ref, they have been thin on the ground this season! Swings and roundabouts.
Once this group gels......

Great performance that should have yielded 4 or 5 goals but the Linnets goal led a very charmed life

Dennis, Cardwell and Dalby worked very well together, with great link up play, especially first half. Having Cardwell gives Dalby more space and he controlled the ball so well. Dennis is virtually unplayable at times and scares the life out of defenders

Midfield were strong, Noor looked very good when he came on, running at players and linking up play.

Hobson was very good, his turn and cross for Dennis's goal was different class. With about 15 mins to go, a ball came into the right side of the box. Hobson chased for it, got to the ball bit rather than put it out for a throw, he saw the Linnets striker ease off thinking Hobson was going to clear it but Hobson just ran over the ball and left it go out for a goal kick. A bit of quality.

Maher and the rest of the gang are putting together a squad that can get us out of this division and that can play in L2.

Deserved win, I reckon 1,000 away fans going to Aldershot after our run of form.

The penalty was wrong, but we had a good one turned down before that. Probably played in the Ref's mind not to turn 2 down on the trot. Cardwell's debut was fantastic. I think he only lost one header in the first half. He also shows amazing pace for a 6ft 3in player. A great Centre Forward display, and there's more to come. Hobson had a great game as well. Just like last season, he gets better as the season goes on.

Love Friday night football and so nice to see some positivity and happy faces in RH.
Have to say was impressed with the new signings and given time think they will fit in well.
Caldwell is a tall lad and jumps well and overall wanting the ball.
Didn’t think that was a penalty but, will take it as how many times have we missed out on poor referee judgement.
Another 3 points in the bag.

Big clap to the supporters tonight who got right behind the team but, what was it with some of the little kids running on the pitch at the end?
