TV Highlights Southend United 3-3 Fleetwood Town

Did well to squeeze that third goal in from a tight angle, wouldn’t be to happy if I was that keeper letting that one in, did have a fair bit of pace on the ball tho.

I can’t believe how easily we gave away the second and third goals. Wait .. I can but still shocking. Humphrys got us out of jail. Onwards and upwards.

Nice goals from us but our defending is abysmal. Goalkeeper awful too.

I’ll still defend Oxley for the second. What isn’t clear on the TV is how unsighted he was for it and how it took a deflection. He was going to his right and had to readjust, which played a big part in him not being able to hold it.

He also made two blinding saves just before that, one of which would have been a Bwomono own goal. Of course, they don't make it onto the "highlights".

If you sign in to iFollow (you don't need to pay anything) there are 10 minute highlights posted every match, I haven't watched this week's but I assume those will be in there.

The save from Bwomono was superb. The second save was pretty good, but regulation really. He could of come for the corner for the first, and maybe done a little better for the 2nd, but at least he didn’t let in 2 free kicks on his side of the goal (not over the wall) and get beaten at his near post from a stupidly narrow angle.

i said this on the post match thread. there is a video taken from the away end where he looks (to be) very un-sighted and it possibly takes a deflection and/or he sees it late.
oxley may not be the best keeper we h ever had, but I thought he was good on Saturday and although you cant prove it one way or the other it pains me to say that at the time I thought with Bishop in goal we would have lost

And now a different view of the goals. It's probably my imagination, but Coxy does not appear overly impressed when Stevie Mc's goal hits the net.

I think you have missed the word NOT somewhere in that post......If you think that was no great celebration, you should have seen his face when Theo scored 2 v Millwall.....He must of had an uncomfortable seat.
