Not many are denying the Club's situation is dire, but there has never, I repeat, never before been people like we have now trying to run this Club correctly. They need time and support. Not to be put down by 'Trolls'??? when try to give positive updates and information.

Stan taking his posts down is a good example and his words are correct. People say they want transparency but not really. To many **** stirrers on this site. The site has now lost a channel for good updates and post of how things are going. Stan is right but it is a shame.

May I suggest you use 'Ignore' option more. I seem to be using it a heck of a lot more.

Constant negativity and sniping at other posters? I only come on here about once a week if that so have a day off mate. Also, if our past 4 years aren't enough to make anyone negative then I'll have what your having please, although I fear it might not be in the real world.

Get with the real world mare, our clubs up **** creek and all too many are saying 'we played ok for 1.6 minutes of the game so we should take that away as a positive. That for me is a losers mentality or someone's who's never played in a proper game of football before.

Stan's 'seems' an incredibly fragile person who blokes/ignores/goes mental at anyone who asks anything he doesn't like. His rants today were for me extremely worrying! If he wonders why some people are asking why we haven't signed 28 players by now he needs to look no further than himself. He couldn't stop talking about his little black book, he's spoken about 1459 times but very little proof has been shown YET. I'm not saying I'm agreeing with those people, I'm saying, get yourself of shrimperzone and get yourself to work. The odd post here and then would be lovely but don't think you need to reply to every person, sorry, every person who's message you didn't like.

I hope he goes on and does amazing and gets us the best players going, I don't want him to fail and I'm not against him. My concern is that he gets too drawn into everyone having to love him and worship him but he'll only get that by putting his head down and sorting the club out.

Obviously you only take from posts what you want to see not the actual meaning. With regards to Facebook again read the statement. To be fair, Stan always said Kevin Maher, Darren Currie and Mark Bentley were an outstanding coaching team but it would take time to turn things around and it was important for fans not to get on their back while that process was underway.

Well I haven't given up hope. I'm pretty sure we will get some new faces and am hopeful they will be an upgrade. I have no doubt there is a great deal of work going on behind the scenes and accept it's not an overnight fix. My point, that you quoted, was that Kev's comment appeared to be in contrast to a number of previous statements. Transparency is great but unless it's consistent then it becomes confusing.

The other point about transparency is that it means answering the questions asked and not just making a statement of points they are prepared to release.

FWIW I hope that KM is successful and I believe he will be. To stop the friction between fans the club needs to sing from one hymn sheet. The fans also need to understand there are very few trolls on this site but many are labelled as such just for asking questions. The whole point of a forum. No?

The adulation when Stan got involved was both incredible and deserved but until he delivers anything other than the first two loan players then this board is the RIGHT place to throw comments back on him and expect constructive answers and not toys out of the pram, I’m taking the football home with me responses.

Perhaps the answer lies in these bold claims made a few weeks ago by SVC. Point 2 seems particularly relevant.

There is nobody in English football who's been into more clubs to learn about structure more than I. No one. Ask around the industry!!!

8. A pundit who has only ever offered 3 clubs help and delivered for each. Delivered. I gave zero interest getting **** from random fans of clubs I have no connection to, it's hard enough getting **** from those you do!

A pundit who's given you more clarity and information as to what the stench is at Southend, relaying that to the lever so that there's a fighting chance of rid of the chancers, schemers and malintents at the club. Without identifying them it's not relegation you'd have to worry about, it's bankruptcy.

As I pointed out a while ago the original claims re Grimsby were not really accurate. The nucleus of the side remained from last season and it was the manager's contacts that produced many of the new signings, not the mysterious Mr Big. In any event, as everyone could see on the evidence of last Friday, they are hardly world beaters and hard to see them as even playoff contenders at the end of the season. Like us, survival in this league would probably count as a success. There are lots of modestly ambitious but well run clubs in this division who know what is needed to survive and maybe SUFC should learn from them in the present situation. It is fortunate that we have Currie, who has the experience and savvy to be successful at this level

Seriously what did a lot of you expect ,that Kev and Co ,plus Stan would come in and we would start winning almost every week from the beginning ,this is apart from the 2 loanees the same squad that was losing every week. that they have inherited, at least we showing a bit more fight now , but it will take time ,changes will be made ,Miracles dont happen overnight ,Let them get on with their jobs have faith,i know the last 3 years have been hard for supporters and im sure management realise that too, Give them a break and support ,stop the negativity , it dosent help players moral to read some of the dross put on here.
