Pretty sure it’s going to be him. Probably compensation is being negotiated. No idea what he is like as a manager. Played the majority of his playing career at league 2 level and below.

Wouldn't it be a wonderful thing if you could click a button somewhere online to opt out of being a Southend supporter. Having clicked, your memory would then be wiped of any Southend related issues.

No more worrying about:

A new stadium.
The old stadium.
HMRC winding up orders.
Paying players or other staff.
Managers.
Finding enough players to form a team.

We could be totally free to spend our time worrying about whatever it is that the rest of the world worries about.

In the event that it's not who I want I will peel off the shirt and throw it petulantly in the direction of Mrs RHB. If the announcement rolls over to tomorrow then I shall follow the same ritual, only this time I will don the Voltage Cherry shirt which has never been worn in anger. If there is no announcement then I shall throw the shirt in the wash box as I won't get away with throwing it at the manager again!
