Southend United Haulage XI

Bored on a trip to and from North Nottinghamshire yesterday I thought of looking out for haulage lorries with the company names on to see if I could conjure up a Southend XI, based on the company names/surname of players. I did, and it was none too bad.

In either 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 formation this was it:

Peter Clarke
Peter Johnson

Nicky Bailey
Peter Ellis
Jay Smith

Jack Payne
David Crown
Peter Taylor

Some subs: Martin Thomas, Mark Cooper, Martin Robinson, Drewe Broughton(!)
