Was a really cracking game. The Houghton Athletic keeper had an absolute blinder, hardly put a foot wrong and made a number of great saves.

Come penalties our keeper, who isn't actually a keeper, made the vital save to give us the win and put us through to the next round. Excellent effort by every Southend ladies player and would have been a very entertaining game for the neutral
