SOUTHEND United left back Ben Coker has been shortlisted for the League Two player of the month award for January.

Can't believe that Brown (3 wins 2 draws) hasn't been nominated again, when Shrewsbury (3 wins 1 draw 1 defeat) and Burton (3 wins 2 draws) both have been. Also Hartlepool manager (2 wins 1 draw 2 defeats) has been nominated, which I can understand from their awful starting point.

I thought the same but maybe as Brown won the last one they didn't want him to win it again. Anyway, saves the Managers Curse that comes with it!
