The point was that once someone actually thought about trying to chance their luck we scored ( albeit at the second attempt). We are generally shot shy for some reason, which I can never understand, when a player is in a position to have a go and test the keeper they should in my opinion, especially in windy conditions like today. It is very frustrating!
 
the way people carry on you'd think Leonards was the only shot we had.
We had shots, some from poor positions, some got blocked, some were saved. It happens

To be fair he was further out than you want most people shooting from and we cant rely on worldies to win games.

Indeed if the game plan was to shoot on sight 99% of the shots outside of the box would get blocked or injury someone in the upper tier.

The goal was actually his 2nd attempt at the shot as well as the first one went no where.

Cox tried his luck from a similar position to Leonard and ballooned it over the bar, Demitriou also took a shot outside the box. I didn't think we were shot shy in the second half, we just aren't very good at it.
 
My only annoyance is when we don't have shots when in good positions, Kightly was guilty of that today IMO.
