Just listened. He was really refreshing to listen to to be honest. Was talking about how Sol won't have any nonsense from the players and people will be moved on in January. People that don't want to be here will be moved on too. Sol will be backed in January apparently.

He also said that Sol has showed great passion and previous managers hadn't (interesting quote).

Court case will be 'settled as usual'.

Ron sounded really hurt by the situation, understandably so. I really don't think Ron goes out of his way to lead Southend into any bad times and he does really care about the club.

Broadcasters were saying it was so refreshing to hear a chairman speak like that and Chris Phillips agreed. Chris said he'd never heard Ron be that open before.

Previously Ron has said the players are good enough they just needed guidance. but tonight he was honest and said they are not good enough.
