It’s not Ron’s fault, more than anyone I’m sorry to say it’s Chris Powell’s fault. Ron backed CP, who most of us were happy to have as manager. Injuries killed us as well last season but none the less the rot set in under CP as the players he bought in have just not been good enough, and Bond kept us up mainly due to a touch of ‘new manager bounce’ but couldn’t stop the rot. And we are rotten to the core thanks to what’s happened over the past 18 months. I’m not sure what our worst ever points total is for a season but I’m pretty sure we’re about to set a new low.
