I like what macca brings to the team. But the fact he's ready for another 60 mins cameo just isn't doing it for me. I'd rather a settled team of regularly fit available players now we are getting into that possibility

As it happens I thought we looked really solid last week with Fergusson in the middle.

Ox
Elvis White Hobson Clifford
Dieng Fergy
ANG KT Akinola
Acquah

Same team, Ranger not fit enough yet, Holmes off the bench as not fit enough to play a full game.

I think it needs a change - that team didn't have goals in it last time out.

Yeah - if Ranger not fit, then Holmes in for ? Acquah, with Akinola leading the line? Or Holmes for KT?

I’d go Holmes in for Acquah as Bolton like to play football so physical might be less needed

He has been injury prone for six seasons now so it is impossible and/or unrealistic to try and 'build' your midfield around him.
If you are leading 2-1 away from home with twenty minutes to go there would have to be worse options!

Assuming an unchanged 11, it will be interesting to see who misses out on the bench...with Holmes, McCormack and Mellis likely to be in the mix who will be 'rested'?

Typical we play them when they’re on a run of form, plus we never beat them anyway! I’m not expecting much from tomorrow’s game I’ll be honest..

Must win for me.

Well, must at least draw I think. Barrow and Grimsby both face tough fixtures against Morecambe and Exeter respectively. I can't see either of them winning tomorrow (fingers crossed) so we need at least a point.
