With both sides high scoring with 4 each last Saturday, this has the potential to be a goal fest game. There should also be a reasonable gate as Bradford do tend to bring a few down.

Provided there are no adverse effects to anyone, excluding White probably, I would go for same again with Demetriou coming in at RB. That would put Wordsworth on the bench and Timlin starting but by all accounts he deserves a start.

I'm really looking forward to this one. 2-1 Blues.

I went to the away game and we were the better team, particularly in the 2nd half. It was only a few weeks ago and reasonably fresh in the players minds. I would expect us to come out on top. 2-1 to SUFC.

Good test of our best 11...see where we are
....................ox.........
Demetriou Thompson ferdinand Coker
Atkinson lenny Wordsworth macca
...............Cox..........ranger
Tough choice between Wordsworth and timlin

After Timlin's performance on Saturday difficult to leave him out. Made two passes for two goals and important interception to set up 4th. Good to have Wordy on the bench after suspension but needs to earn his place back after silly booking nattering the ref

I think you have called it right Lee; PB does not seem to be a fan of Timlin as in the past he would often sub him in a game where he (Tims) was doing well etc.
Atkinson is "due" a goal against BCFC in an ex-player haunting his old club style performance.

A lot could depend on the officials and how they see the CBs for us dealing with Hanson, or theirs with Ranger - an early yellow card could make it interesting.

Agree with all of the above, but I'd definitely start with Timlin. You have to after his three assists and on the radio, it sounded like he got into a couple of good scoring positions as well.

Bradford are a tough no-nonsense side who appear to like to get it out wide and load crosses in or dive around getting free-kicks in and around the penalty box, so having some steel to stop them playing too much in our half, could be crucial.

Wordy would be a good 60 minutes sub option and we do have 3 games in quick succession, coming up, so it could be that Wordy gets back into the side at some point this coming week.

PB generally sticks with the same winning side unless he has to make a change, so I'd be surprised if there's more than the one change from Saturday : Demetriou for White.

One thing I would add. I haven't been quite so excited about an upcoming home match as this one for a long time. A chance to see Ranger and (15 goals, 15 assists guaranteed) Cox together at RH, against a top side that we owe one after last season.

Bring it on!

Same team as Bury for me.

Wordsworth was banned, due to some stupid bookings in my book, Timlin came in and played his socks off and we won. Therefore for me, same starting X1 ( maybe as alluded elsewhere Demetriou for White, former was on International Duty and latter was actually injured during the game).

Would stick with Timlin for this one, as its going to be one of our toughest games of the season. Bradford are flying at the moment. Think we need that extra bite in the middle. Bring on Wordy after an hour or so to freshen things up, maybe for Atkinson (he cant do 40km in a week!) and send Timlin out wide.

Would take a point now to be honest.

Just on a side note, why the **** are we playing Bradford again 4 weeks after playing them for the first time?

So, those who advocated not changing the team (bringing Woody back in) on another thread seem to be quite happy to bring Demetriou in? You either change a team that's won 4-1 away or you don't!!!

Gutted to be missing this one, first home game we've missed in absolutely ages but we're at a Wedding in Hertfordshire all day on Saturday.

Likely to be a reality check. Bradford are in great form and on paper they have an outstanding side. 0-3.

Demetriou I am sure would of played on Saturday if he was available, and more importantly White is injured, so its a change that is going to happen.

I think it would be a mistake to leave Wordsworth out considering his form this season. Timlin offers more than Atkinson and deserves to take his place in the team.

It would be harsh to drop Timlin, but also harsh not to bring Wordsworth back in - does that mean the undroppable could be dropped? I know it's a taboo subject so daren't mention his name:winking: and it would also be quite harsh

After finally shaking off the injuries we have seen more consistent performances. But I have to say his last two games at Millwall and at home to Shrewsbury weren't his best. As Deegan found out last season if you get a ban it can cost you your place.

The keeper and back four should pick themselves, with Demi coming back in. As do the front 2. McL and Lenny are certs which leaves Woody, Will and Tims.

I would go for the strength of Timlin at Atkinson as Will plays better wide than the other two and as AndyT has already said Bradford like a set piece and across.

We need to be in the game after 60mins, don't forget we were an inch away from being 2 down before half time v the Shrews. With some decent attacking options on the bench We can definitely get a result.

As others have said, JW is injured. If he was 100% fit and had completed Saturday's match, I'd have been tempted to keep the same side. Especially as Bradford like to get the ball into wide areas, so having a strong Right-Back, defensively, would be more than useful.

The problem with playing both Timlin and Atkinson is that you will have two midfielders who rarely score a goal, whilst leaving Wordsworth out who scores and is also our only dead ball specialist.
