The problem with playing both Timlin and Atkinson is that you will have two midfielders who rarely score a goal, whilst leaving Wordsworth out who scores and is also our only dead ball specialist.

With Cox, Ranger and McL we have enough goals in the side. Your right Woody's dead ball deliveries have improved but Timlin showed us an alternative on Saturday for the Cox goal. I'm not bothered if Woody played ahead of Timlin its just my personal choice. Either way both will surely feature unless there is some unexpected injuries.

Timlin was the only player at Stevenage who showed us anything, he obviously took that into the Bury game so if PB demands players to perform he has to reward. Besides Bradford are second for a reason and you have to respect that.

Having seen the corresponding game last season I thought Bradford wanted it more and that's why they won.

Will be interesting to see if that's also the case this time around.

I’m a big Wordsworth fan but Timlin has steppedin and done a great job, I wouldn’t change from a 4-1 away win (except enforcedchanges, JD for JW). Timlin is only just on his way back from a long terminjury so I doubt he’ll be able to play Sat and Tues. I’d go Timlin Sat andWordsworth Tues.

5062 Home seats accounted for so far. As it's only Tuesday then 6000 homers is not impossible. Last home game in April this year against them we managed a crowd of 8571 with 1550 making the journey from Bradford.

Has to be either Timlin or Wordsworth and not both, the pairing of Lenny and Atkinson cannot be changed, the recall of Atkinson in the middle has shored up our fragility in that area, giving others the freedom to play.
For me Wordsworth shades it, purely for his goal scoring threat, but what a great problem to have!

I reckon it will be both of them. What is probably up for grabs is which way round. Start with Tims and sub Wordsworth on second half, or vice versa. Of course this could all be banjaxed if Atkinson or Lenny gets injured. Or he could start both and bench Atkinson.

Thinking about it, I'm probably talking bobbings and I'll leave it up to the man gets loads to manage the side.:dim:

If O'Neill was to have an assist would it be Lucozade?

I'll get me coat:blush:

Saw the game at Bradford ......... they were the better team in the first half and we were the better team in the 2nd half when we started to play some good football.

Bradford like to play the ball around and get forward quickly .......... so if they are on top that means our midfielders will be back defending and divorced from Cox and Ranger. Not as nervous as a few weeks ago about set pieces and corners but we do have to be careful. And Bradford had a cracking winger and a "midfield maestro" (? Marshall - short and bald) who need to be watched. Some one might be able to remember their names.

So very difficult game to predict ......... and it could all go down to one mistake or piece of good fortune. Hopefully the Bradford players will spend Friday night down on The Golden Mile, have a couple of shandies too many and in the last 10 minutes we will get the 3 points wrapped up. But I think those days of beers before games are over.

Having said that I'll for a 0-0 draw full of yellow cards (and perhaps a red) as both managers send out their teams to "close down the opposition" .................

Likely to be a reality check. Bradford are in great form and on paper they have an outstanding side. 0-3.

We did get a point there a month ago don't forget!

Should be a good game anyway and I can see another draw maybe 2-2 this time.
