I agree; I don't think sacking him will make a difference now; it should have happened months ago IMO. Therefore you may as well give him the start of next season, but I personally can't see how he will make us a decent side

I am at a loss to work our the team tactics or plays.
We didn't do the basics, closing down was poor, running off ball poor, midfield after Macca went off poor, forwards never passed or worked together. No shots from open play. Corners shocking.
No plan A let alone a plan B

I never rated him when he played for Chelmsford. When he entered the league I was surprised to say the least.

I think managers,scouts etc get admitted if arrangements are made beforehand because there will only be a few of them, we have had various extra people at our home games. If they allowed a few fans in there would be uproar from many others so that won’t happen.

This is exactly how I saw it. At Harrogate last week I thought there was a bit of urgency and fighting spirit but today even that was missing. We looked like a bunch of guys pulled in off the street who had never met each other before.

Like everyone else on here I just feel gutted.

Michael Jolley reportedly at the game today.

Jolley was appointed manager of Grimsby in March 2019 with a view to saving them from relegation which he did. Maybe Ron was thinking of appointing him to do exactly the same here. You never know.
