Same lineup then from the win V Burton, going for a 2-0 win.

Belford, Clohessy, Barker, Phillips, Hills, Sawyer, Timlin, Grant, Martin, Sampson, Harris.

Prosser, Ferdinand, Dickinson, Benyon, Baldwin.

Gilmartin, James, Cummings, Mills, Davis, Simpson, Bulman, Davies, Torres, Batt, Clarke.

Subs: Kuipers, Watt, Akinde, Dempster, Neilson.

Default

Belford 9 - Excellent save from their defender Davies I think? The penalty did seem a bit weak to me but good save none the less. Can we keep him on loan till the end of the season?

Clohessy 8- Another decent game, risky tackle in the first half though.

Barker 4 - Even before the red card felt he didnt have the best of matches, great chance for Baldwin now.

Phillips 8 - Another solild performance, get this man on a new contract now.

Hills 7 - Didnt notice him much so did a good job defensively.

Timlin 6 - Poor game, didnt have that midfield drive which he showed during his loan.

Sawyer 7- Made a couple of decent runs forward, glad to see him back.

Grant 7 - Another good performance from him aswell, soaked the ball up very well.

Martin 6 - Quite game, didnt get on the ball as much as he has done recently.

Harris 6 - Should have at least have hit the goalkeeper with that chance he had and the misplaced pass nearly cost us, but still credit to stay on till the end.

Sampson 6 - Got himself into a few decent postions but not the best of the games for him, will probaly have the loan extended now with Dickinsons injury.

Dickinson - 7 Caused a bit of trouble when he came on and was right player to come on at that time. Thankfully the injury isnt the worst case scenario.

Prosser - 7 Came on and did a job.

Ferdiand - 5 Cant recall him doing anything....

Overall a poor game but to come out of it with a point after Crawley were turning the notch up is a good result.

A word on Crawley, many expected their bubble to burst and it seems it has. Selling those strikers for that amount seems a good deal, but what is the point when you cant spend it? They have 3 games in hand so they are still a threat but playoffs at best for them I feel.

Slight concern that there isnt any real midfield back up with Hall and Bilel banished at the mo and Leonard and JPK still out injured.

Ferdinand and Dickinson recalled to the bench, but not Hall... could be making something from nothing here but maybe Hall is a more serious case than the other two?

Pleased to see no changes though. REALLY want to come out of this game with 3 points. Tonight is out perfect opportunity to really kick-start our run-in. Get behind the boys, UTB!

Hall didn't travel to Burton either whereas the other 2 did. this was due to illness though so I'm assuming hes still suffering.
Highly doubt its anything more

Not wishing to stir things up but Hall has been "ill" a few times this season.

A bit tedious now Canvey mate

Blues unchanged for Crawley clash

BLUES boss Paul Sturrock has named an unchanged starting line-up for this evening’s clash against Crawley Town at Roots Hall.

That wind looks horrible to play in. If we're drawing at half time we'll be doing well.

Timlin or Grant should have been making a run for Sawyers cut back. He's showing his class. Timlin hasn't touched the ball yet.

Sawyer has probably been our best defender so far, and carved out our best chance. Classy lad.
