It will be Maidenhead’s second game in 4 days but our first in 10 days.Think this benefits Maidenhead more than us. We need more time but more than 2 weeks! Maidenhead though probably can get some of their squad back by December 7th.

That’s interesting, I wasn’t aware of that. Maybe that changes things but if they are carrying form and we are not then would fancy them still. It will be Maidenhead’s second game in 4 days but our first in 10 days.
It’s annoying Barnet aren’t still in the cup as we could then have played them on the Saturday we were due to host Yeovil. That’s interesting, I wasn’t aware of that. Maybe that changes things but if they are carrying form and we are not then would fancy them still.

Our club has been embarrassing enough over the past 3 plus years. I don't think we could withstand the humiliation of losing to them.Confused, does this mean maidenheads team the majority are unvaccinated?
You don't have to self isolate if your vaccinated and have been around someone positive now? are the rules different for football?
In my eyes that should now be a forfeit or field a youth team on their part

Doesn't really indicate anything by way of vaccinations for me, the league rules might state that C-19 case/s = immediate full team PCR testing.Confused, does this mean maidenheads team the majority are unvaccinated?

Is there not a 14 day period with positive test, so 2 weeks today is the earliest we could have played it?Sorry, that wasn’t very clear. The them was Maidenhead, who play Barnet when we were supposed to play Yeovil.
Whilst it offers some protection the vaccine generally does a mediocre job of preventing infection (the big benefit of the vaccine is that it greatly reduces the odds of Covid hospitalising you if you catch it), so I can see football clubs wanting to be cautious even with vaccinated players.Confused, does this mean maidenheads team the majority are unvaccinated?

The issue presumably won’t be the individual needing14 days but rather having enough time to test everyone and work out who needs to isolate. Is there not a 14 day period with positive test, so 2 weeks today is the earliest we could have played it?
Exactly this.I thought if it was just one player, the rule was that he has to self isolate ? Then again, if he's just found out, perhaps the others haven't had time to get themselves tested yet ?
Not sure of that. Presumably the whole team would have been tested at the same time. The issue presumably won’t be the individual needing14 days but rather having enough time to test everyone and work out who needs to isolate.
The last thing we want is for Maidenhead to infect our squad and for the new management team to not be able to train the squad, players to lose fitness whilst sitting out etc. Maidenhead are doing us a favour by not exposing us to that.
