Personaly could not go tonight, but can rearranged game.
Plus already have a ticket for Altrinham Saturday.
So not unhappy its off.
Plus it gives us a bit more time to get Ralph and a few other's back.
Plus some more loans in.

Potters Bar v Bowers for me!

This one for me too. Not seen a Bowers game since they sported a duck on their club badge and had converted shipping containers for stands.

The postponement is a bit annoying, I haven't been able to get to the Hall this season before tonight and despite our questionable form was actually looking forward to the game. Still, gives us more time to maybe get some new blood in, and possibly Ralph might be back so perhaps this cloud has a silver lining.

It's a decent set-up now, well worth a visit.

They are indeed, but he did not make a grammatical mistake. His mistake was choosing an incorrect verb, not saying what he probably wanted to: that’s misuse of vocabulary.
I think fixtures nowadays only get cancelled if a team folds/drops out of their league, though I seem to recall there has been at least one occasion when a left-over, irrelevant match was permitted to be cancelled after the end of the season.
You know what I meant. It hardly required 3 seperate posts and this tedious paragraph about it.

So I'd imagine you'd describe it as a lexical mistake?

Incidentally I imagine you're aware of the linguistic difference between an error and a mistake?

"Mistakes are an accident. You know it's wrong, but the wrong word slips out. An error, on the other hand, is something you don't know. It's grammar you haven't learned yet or vocabulary you haven't learned the nuance of yet."

You'd like to think the club will post them out. Got a month to save up for some stamps and envelopes so people get them in their Christmas stockings

Says at the end of this announcement re tonight's game that they will be posted out prior to the 7th December.
