I'm up from Lowestoft tonight. Looking forward to it.
snap have you noticed the wind has really pick up in lowestoft in the last hour .Walked the dog along the cliff top and the north sea is crashing over the wall .Really hope it dies down before 7.45 tonight .

It's going to be fine Tommy. Just the journey there is going to be a bit torturous if we can ever get out of this town. But feeling really good on the way home. +3 and up the league

Wind speed on top of my shed in Wickford has really picked up - and air pressure still falling.

Good information that MattE. And you get wind direction as well. Nice.

I don't think the weather helps either side but windy conditions are particularly difficult for goalkeepers I think.

Can't see the pitch getting watered before the game ...........

Maidenhead have lost their last 4 league games on the bounce, shipped 12 goals and only scored 1.

We do have it in us to score, but haven’t kept a clean sheet since Eastleigh at home, way back at the start of October. Even Dover - one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen play at Roots Hall - managed to nick one against us.

They do of course have three former Shrimpers, which is always a curse for us. I can’t find any info on Sam
Barratt and whether he is still injured, but he’ll have a point to prove, should he start. So to will Acquah.

3-1 Southend is 14/1 with SkyBet. Worth a nugget or two.

Maidenhead have conceded 19 in their last 5 games, but they also score a few (more than us anyway) and really are on the decline..

I've gone for a draw.

There are some closer weather stations to Roots Hall than mine if you're interested in all the data....
