you would expect a good reaction at the weekend when the first team get back together again

but it's a worry that the fringe players didn't perform and we will need more from them again this season
 
Feel a bit sorry for the chairman.Its been a long time since we've had a moneyspinning cup run. Looking at framed panoramic framed photo of Roots Hall Chelsea replay. What an atmosphere when we went 1 up.
 
Our record under Brown in Cups is shocking. Aside from one trip to the Fourth Round in the FA Cup we've not passed the first round in either the League Cup or Fa Cup. We've also only won 4 out of 8 in the LDV, two coming last year. Two other one and dones and one two game stint earlier.

Which was the FA Cup... League Cup we've done nothing in over a decade. It's a nothing comp, we've got bigger fish to fry.
