I'm not saying you're wrong but it may be that we've only been able to play with that sort of movement and intent because we've been up against a few teams in a row that are poor enough for us to actually be able to do this and get a bit of practice at it. There were also games under MM where we looked good going forward but they were scattered more throughout the season and we couldn't get into a groove. I think someone did some stats the other day and worked out that we were creating similar levels of quality chances under both managers.

I'm not an anti PB person and was up for clearing out the squad rather than him when he was originally sacked but I would just be wary of reading too much into these six games.

Poor enough? Newport qualified for the play offs yesterday. However I think that also shows how poor the quality of league 2 has been this year.

They were pretty much carried by Scott Twine the first half of the season, definitely not a playoff quality team once he had left IMO.
