I'm hoping Murphy is incentivised against his old club, and that Dennis has been given a good rub down with Massage World (yes, it does exist, lol!)

Have enjoyed the best and the worst of games against Yeovil.
Winning there in 2006 when the Goat was fed, but losing at the old Huish in the FA Cup in 1963, when they were then as now, non-league.
I scattered my father's ashes on the Hall pitch after beating them in the FA Cup in 1982.

One side will be feeling the physical strain, the other may be licking wounds after an FA Cup exit playing slightly later than us, and having to travel.
1-1, for me.

Surprised at people saying replace JD with Bridge - not sure I've ever seen Bridge play RB/RWB before!

Bridge has played Left Wing Back (under PB) this season, and being right footed, would suggest it is well within his skillset.

Mind you, I'd always prefer a flat back four with a proper right back.

I have the same concern ref Demi playing twice in 4 days. Also wonder if Jack Bridge will be clear and negative on the Covid testing to feature, certainly hope so.

Also if we win and Wealdstone lose, it will be another team overtaken.....

Looking forward to Tuesday anyway!
Think JD may be ok because training will be managed carefully by Kev M and also a few weeks ago I believe he had his quarterly knee injection which Im told makes a huge difference with recovery from games and less pain. So may be ok...We will see!

Oh I totally agree. However, everyone expected a hammering at Bromley and we more than matched them. I was more encouraged by that performance than the Weymouth one. It was against good opposition trying to get to top spot and we spanked them in the second half.

Yeovil have lost their last 3 (2 in the league) and I don't think it will be a one sided game like it would have been early season.

Hoping Murphy finds his scoring boots against his former club. Be nice for one of our players to score against their old club rather than our former players scoring against us!
I wasn't there so can't comment specifically on the game but sometimes you play "down" to a team that is poor in the same way that teams lift their performance against very good opponents or in local derbies.

That would explain how we played better against Bromley & not so well against Weymouth but, at the end of day & when all is said & done, each game is a separate "episode" and the relevance of past performance is arguable when considering future outcomes.

Other clichés & platitudes are available ...........

Unchanged team for me. Watched the extended highlights today and thought we looked really good. Kev has got us playing some really attacking football which I don’t think we’ve seen for years.

Arnold
Hobson, Lopata, Ralph
Demetriou, Atkinson, Neal, Clifford
Murphy, Dennis, Dalby
If Demetriou and Atkinson aren’t up to starting another game so soon, I’d go for Walsh and Ferguson in their place.

Could be one of the lower gates this season.

Be lucky if yeovil bring 100

Walsh yes Ferguson NO he is to lazy and does not track back and help goes missing to much to start .

Yes espically as we are getting better and better every week.
I just cant wait for the games wheather they be home or away,
I just cant get enough of watching our SUFC.
Either that or I am bloody deluded or nuts.

In your opinion, which you are entitled to etc etc.
When I watch Fergie he does have times when his concentration seems to lapse and he needs focus, he also has a knack of being in the right place at the right time without fluster ( or having to chase around because he was in the wrong place). He tries to make a pass - forward, and longer than 5 yards - he will try a shot, and should have a pop more often, he also defends well at set pieces.
However you have your opinion.
FWIW I like Walsh and he has a role and needs to work on his crossing, and chasing back is great but many times it is visually impactive because he has been out of position and caught static, he will improve for sure.
And Roots Hall does seem to need a blame cussed player?

Compared with the bloke I've seen in the previous 12 months JD looked surprisingly sprightly on Saturday as did Atkinson. I'd like to think this is down to a more sophisticated fitness regime than 10K jogs on a Sunday morning.

Anything over 5k will be decent for this time of year, covid concerns, lack of away support and league position.
