So, what with all the discussion surrounding embargoes and what not, it seems easy to forget we are playing a game tonight! Currently losing 1-0 to a Tottenham XI!

Southend: Bentley, Clohessy, Straker, Leonard, Phillips, Prosser, Hall, Ferdinand, Harris, Eastwood, Spicer.
Subs: Barker, Chambers, Hurst, Martin, Brogan, Donnelly, Benyon.

Tottenham: Ryan, Smith, Rose, Hall, Ekong, Carroll, Falque, Mason, Coulibaly, Kane, Townsend.
Subs: Obika, Priestly, Pritchard, Stewart, Gomelt.

The goal sounds like it came from poor defending, apparently their player was allowed time to turn and shoot in the box.
Since their goal we have had a chance with Prosser forcing a save from their keeper.

Just following the Southend United Twitter page, nowhere else as far as I know... @SUFCRootsHall

Cresswell and Tomlin are out injured. Not actually heard that Tomlin was injured from anywhere official until I tweeted the club tonight, they've kept it quiet for some reason.

this was the description on Spurs Twitter...

16 - GOAL! Townsend beat four players on his way to the byline, cross to near post collected by Coulibaly, who rifled into top corner. 1-0.

4 players!...:nope:

SUFC Twitter: Spurs make it 2-0 through Harry Kane after a passing move around the 6 yard box he scrambles it in under challenge from Hall and Clohessy...

Felt quite confident after the Ipswich game but we seem to be all over the place at the minute. Still only a friendly I guess.

A friendly against a very good Tottenham side, they have some good young players. No surprise if we take a bit of a beating.

wouldnt think the crowd is gonna be much more than 1000 unless Tottenham have brought more than Millwall.
£15 to see a Tottenham Youth Side doesnt appeal to alot of people!!

Spurs youngsters playing some great one touch football. We have made some poor choices when in advanced positions. Noone standing out but Leonard is having a mare. Bentley has made a couple if stops. Spicer and Kane have been busy. Harris and Eastwood are dining on scraps.

Crowd of about 2k with 500 odd from spurs

David Crown has told my mate that Hall doesnt want to be here anymore and wants a move just like Moshni
