You forgot LOT JONES who was Southend's first ever international back in 1920 when he played for Wales against England at Highbury back in 1920 whilst turning out for the Shrimpers. Then there was JIMMY EVANS who won all four of his Welsh caps between 1922 and 1923 whilst playing for Southend.

Notable appearances by Welshmen also include Billy Evans (1921/24), Emlyn "Micky" Jones, who made over 230 appearances between 1929 and 1939, Duggie Price (1958-60) and Lee Nogan (1987).
