I would like to take this opportunity to thank Neil Harris. Last Saturday morning in inclement weather I discovered Neil coaching youngsters in Rayleigh. The youngsters obviously look upon Neil as their "Local Hero". I spoke to Neil and found him to be personable and extremely modest on what he has achieved in his chosen sport. Professional footballers can be a maligned type at times. But I believe that SUFC are extremely fortunate to have an excellent ambassador in Neil. Lets hope we can find him a coaching opportunity once he ends his career on the field.
