Echo News Southend United's Richard Taylor heads to Barnet on loan

Watching his performance, why does Richard Taylor even play in defence? He seems to have almost zero natural defending talent. He doesn't look both ways before crossing the street.

But he seems comfortable with both feet, at least from today, can pick a pass and is strong in his dribbling. Why is he not played in midfield?

I hope he play every games for Barnet, as he can come to pre season a stronger player than he was before he goes out on loan.
