I'm also guessing with Iorfa's sell on we've probably got enough in total to have him banging on the door of the top 20. I also think we probably made about £300k out of Hayden in total.

I had an estimate of about 460k in Hooper's sell-ons to add to the original fee.

Arsenal signed Steffi Mavididi for around £20k when he was 12.Believe Arsenal sold him to Juventus B for Eur 2mio .We surely get a percentage of that

I had £3.45m in my head Matt but the only add ons i could remember were £250k each for 25 goals, promotion and England

I thought it was £2.2M up front, with the three add ons you’ve listed, giving an overall total of £2.95M. The remainder that took it over the £3M mark up to yours or Matts figure was due to a sell on clause I think when he left Forest for Liverpool?

How much did we get for Colin Morris? Wasn't he swapped with Derek Spence? I guess they agreed an amount for tax purposes (so about 20 quid)

Way off the top 10, but didn't we get £20,000 for Carruthers when he left?

Also around that time, Mark McNulty £100k + to Stoke and Neil Campbell went for money as well.

Inflation doesn't reflect the increase in the amount of money in football.
I doubt any midfielder from the 80's would be Pogba sized-transfer fees now. (Not very well put but you see my point!)

When Chico went to Villa my cousin bought a house for £3.000 in Leigh , that same house is now worth £500.000 ,so going by that £40.000 Villa paid is now worth about £6,500000 give or take .
