I may as well start a new thread.

SOUTHEND XI | Oxley, White, Inniss, Thompson, Coker, O'Neill, King, Leonard, Wordsworth, Cox, Fortune.

SUBS | Smith, Kyprianou, Sokolik, Atkinson, McLaughlin, Bridge, Mooney.

Disappointed Smith didn't start.

We are playing a 3-5-2 formation apparently.

Col Ewe are losing if that helps.

Not much to comment on so far, no real chances for either side, very much a midfield game with the occasional hoof.

Decent header from distance by Inniss. Southend seem to be stringing a few decent moves together. And Inniss does well from a Leonard long throw.

Sounds like the perfect advert for this c**t of a competition so far.

Nice to see 33 year old, 25 cap Jonas Olsson is doing his bit for furthering the future of the England team.
