The home games are coming thick and fast this week. Next up is Southampton U21s in the Checkatrade Trophy. This is a game we have to win if we are to progress to the next stage.

It’s East stand only for this one and Tickets are £8 for grown-ups and a bit less for under 18s, students, and us geriatrics etc. Alternatively, iFollow is televising the game live for £10.

It will be interesting to see who starts for this one as we have Blackpool at the Hall on Saturday, so maybe some of our fledglings will get a look in. Normal stuff please, opinions, formations team selection and Norman Wabo debates here.

Smith
Bwomono White Moore Hendrie
Kightly Dieng Yearwood McLaughlin
Wabo Cox
Rest some players while keeping the team strong. Too many changes, especially in the middle of midfield is what cost us against Col U.

Cox does a lot outside the box, so lets put Wabo up with him to help stretch the opposition and he gets into the box.

Oxley, Mantom, Turner, Demetriou, Hutchinson, Klass and Phillips on the bench.

Is Batlokwa unavailable? If not he should be added to the poll, after all he started the last two games.

Also can anyone confirm whether Kyprianou's available or is he away with Cyprus again?

My team to start would be:

Smith
Bwomono Moore White Hendrie
McLaughlin Klass Hyam
Huthinson
Wabo McCoulsky
Kyprianou in for White if he is available.

Subs: Bishop, Demetriou, Turner, Batlokwa, Kightly, Ba, Kelman

According to CP Ted took a slight knock in training last week hence not being on the bench yesterday but the club hope he'll be okay for next week.

Not true - a draw and the penalty point at the end would do!

Smith
Bwomono
White
Kyprianou
Hendrie
McLaughlin
Yearwood
Klass
Hyam
Bunn
McCoulsky

Can't risk Oxley, Demetriou, Moore, Turner, Mantom, Dieng or Cox.
Kightly can't play three games in a week.
Hyam needs match time.
Robinson has had too many chances.
Wabo, Hutchinson on subs bench.
Good opportunity to see Yearwood up against Southampton's best youngsters.
Team almost picks itself with more important games coming up.

Sorry Mick I haven’t been following the Checka tables - is this because GD isn’t taken into account or is it because of the results so far?

....... results so far.

Thanks Mick, I am truly in awe of your knowledge:Blush:!!

With all four teams on 3 points each and one game each to go, it's hardly awesome knowledge to realise that the two teams that come out on top next week (even by this penalty thing at the end) will go through !

Now you're just being modest.
