.. according to Andy Steggall last week, tonight Meridian Soccer Night will feature extended highlights of last nights match, it starts at 23.40

What a hit by Barett. Take a bow.

I thought Clarke's flick on was a touch of class and then to top it off with that strike WOW!!! Very much like the goal he scored last game of the season last season at Southampton.

I watched the Anglia version after and to hear that **** Perry Groves comment on Barratt's goal 'a good ball was played up to the striker who knocked it back to the Barratt the centre half'

Two **** ups in the commentary on soccer night last night though...

firstly the walsall highlights they said Flavs became "the most capped southend keeper"

and in brighton game i think they said Bailey had 9 goals this season. idiots.

But anyway, two absolutely cracking goals it was great to see them again. That flick by Clarkey was fantastic.

He has 9 league goals. I always prefer that as the tally, rather than add all the sundry Cup goals to a players total.

Barrett's goal at Southampton was his first ever goal he had scored with his feet, he seems to of learnt how to do that now, he has a few with his feet now, still love to see a bullet header from him though.
