Don't look great does it but chill a bit for gods sake. We are NOW non league....used to batter Wakering 7 0 now only two. Ron Martin has got us in this mess and the name of Southend Utd won't get us out of it for a few years until OBL and Kev buy us out.....too many better financed clubs than us,....,,best we can hope for i'm afraid is staying in this League!

First game of last season we lost four zip to Harrogate United, this year in a pre season friendly we only lost 4-1 to Euro Champs runners up and 1966 World Cup winners West Ham. I think that is progress. We are heading in the right direction under PB.

Back to the football… thought there were some positives tonight. First half’s team was far superior. Murphy looked pretty sharp. Seaden had a pretty poor game tonight… doubt he would have been particularly happy with his claim for a first team spot. Shame to see Atkinson pull up, but he was running around pretty laboured before that… I guess that’s to be expected after so long out!
