I just read Fridays programme and i am shocked, saddened and in fact sickened ...

Reading the "connections" bit it states .. "Steve Wignall (spit) succeeded Rob Newman as Southends manager in May 2003 and guided the Blues to the 2004 LDV Vans trophy final, remaining in charge till May 2004

Ridiculous!! Ronnie Whelan didn't achieve much with Southend but you can't take that LDV final away from him.

With a nice cross-thread link to Barnablue's "Room 101" topic *, this is clearly the club's very own Ministry of Truth, re-writing history and changing the facts to fit the RM doctrine. Remember, "Ignorance is Strength".
