My guess is that he's off to inspect the Broadwater Farm council estate in Haringey because that's where Peggy Lokando comes from. If Ron doesn't approve of the various regeneration projects implemented since 1985's notorious riot then Peggy is unlikely to be offered a new contract, simple as. It's all to do with Ron's social engineering of the Southend squad to make sure there are no 'bad apples'. I've heard he's also looking at cloning Adam Barrett because he is such a decent guy and willing to sign ludicrously long contracts, although I think he'll make sure the new versions have hair (dreads most probably) and some pace.
