May I just say that the Thai food in the spread is a must have, cooked superbly just what you need with a pint is a slice of pork on toast! or some chicken wings!
Me and CS J give it top marks and we know that Seb Weetabix has plans to kidnap the cheff so that he can cook for him every night!

So on match days people try some SUPERB!!!!!!

Too much coconut for me. Don't mind it once in a while though.

probably the most bizarre thing that's happened this year - the grotty, smelly function room of The Spread being turned into a Thai restaurant

Well the SZFC hierarchy had their usual Committee meeting upstairs, due to running late I decided to have my dinner at the Spread, well being a person who loves Thai food over Indian or Chinese, I decided it was time give the place a taste test. Well I had Red Duck Curry with Pad Thai. Well for such a strange place to eat the food was top notch - well worth ordering some next time you are there. The Pad Thai was fresh and not cloy from too much oil and the vegetables in it still had some bite.

Definitely will give Manolys in Leigh a run for their money.

Why on Earth would you want to kidnapp a perfectly good chef and cook for him? I'd rather it were the other way round.

Strange bloke, that Seb.

the guvs from the spread kidknapped him under the cover of darkness.. and made him work for them

Was Seb invloved in this kidnapping per chance?
