PL Cup Spring Trophy 2011 Thread

Hi everyone, and welcome to the 2011 Spring Trophy, last night the draw for the first round took place, with entrants 4-29 playing off 13 ties to decide who'll join BLUEBLOOD Junior, Cricko and myself in Round 2, we received byes as i needed to even up the playing field and first in priviliges prevailed as ever

I'll be back with a full schedule of rounds a bit later, but for now this first round will be played on Saturday 29th January when we are at Barnet

The match up that, on paper at least, was the tie of the round is won by our Antipodean friend

class top scoring week was always going to seem him triumph, though Mark can feel hard done by after a decent performance

Shrimpersarmy v Drastic Sturgeon 2-5
Faltering badly in the league and now smashed out the cup by a resurgant DS, whats gone wrong for Don??

Pete and Luca serve up a thriller, and its the youngster who squeaks through

Totaaly gutted!!!!!

Three of mine and luca's predictions were the same and only two crunch predictions settled it.

I had Rotherham to win with a wildcard, Luca went for a 4-0, i ask you who predicts a 4-0. What was the final score 4-0 DoDtS 2 points Lucky luca 3 points.
I was still in it as I had Lincoln to draw, luca Port Vale to win, at 0-0 the DoDtS v LL tie, the points were level, but a late winner for Lincoln put Luca into the next round.
