I have not seen this be officially announced on the O/S. However, I can see the numbers on the Players Profile area though. What i find interesting is that they still have Bilel on there, with no number next associated with him.

I now can see the article on the site! - Still they are only numbers!

It's the number he made his impact wearing though.

And it'll be the number 7 shirt he will be wearing when he makes another big impact on League Two. For me I don't care what number he wears, we've re-signed Freddy Eastwood and that makes me feel wonderful.....

Getting fitter by the game too, really think he'll do well this season.

Just numbers and makes no difference at all.
It reminds me of a story from the days when shirts were numbered 1-11 and Martin O'Neil complained to Brian Clough that he didn't like the No 7 shirt.
Clough said that was fine and that next week he would give him the No 12.
O'Neil never complained about his shirt number again.

Excellent. Always a highlight of the summer.

This year the Southend United squad expressed as the Top Urban Legends

Ryan Hall - the legend of Bloody Mary
Graham Coughlan - do earwigs bore into people's brains
Ryan Cresswell - photos of Mitt Romney and family wearing t-shirts that spell out R MONEY

Neil Harris - Jamie Lee Curtis Is a Hermaphrodite
Barry Corr - babysitter calls parents to ask if she can cover up the clown statue in the room where she's watching TV because it disturbs her. The parents tell her to call 911, grab the children, and get out of the house immediately!
David Martin - Fred Rogers was a sniper in the Marines
Kane Ferdinand - Girl woken by dripping sound. When sticks hand under bed the dog licks it. Turns tap off but dripping continues. Sticks hand under bed and dog licks it again. Turns off all taps, but dripping sound continues. Eventually finds dripping coming from own cupboard, opens up and dog is hanging there with it's throat slit and written on the mirror is "humans can lick too"
Kevan Hurst - babysitter gets phonecall asking if she's checked the children, then another one asking why she hasn't. Reports prank call to police who say it's coming from within the house.
Mark Phillips - Richard Gere and the hamster
Luke Prosser - room-mate doesn't turn the light so as to not disturb room-mate. When returns finds room-mate dead and in blood scrawled "aren't you pleased you didn't turn the light on?"
Daniel Bentley - Bill Gates' 11 rules of life
Ryan Leonard - Lady Gaga is a hermaphrodite
Gavin Tomlin - origin of Anglo-Saxon phrase that is censored on here, comes from fornication under command of the king.
Chris Barker - Eminem is dead
Elliot Benyon - female driving home by herself late at night. Car behinds starts flashing lights and tailgating her. The car behind continues to follow her, even jumping lights as she races back home. When she pulls into her drive she jumps out of the car and races for her front door, a voice calls out "lock the door, call the police". She turns around and sees, illuminated in the headlights of the car that had been tailing her, a man grasping a knife jump out of the backseat of her car and run away.

Yorkie, that is possibly the most bizarre post ever on Shrimperzone.

....and this kids is why you should Just Say No.

Disappointed that Alex Woodyard has not been given a number as he has been involved in a number of the pre season games.

Why is Coughlan number 5 ?

Surely someone who plays a game a season shouldnt be getting a first team number?
