Squeamish Foods

Fried liver and bacon with lashings of onions, give it a go amsemp, bloody lovely.

Absolutely, cut the liver small and dip in seasoned flour. Fine slice the onions and fry in a little olive oil, push to the side then fry sliced smoked streaky bacon. Remove from pan and drain on kitchen towel. Fry the liver for about 5 mins, turning frequently, then add the bacon and onions. After a few minutes, either remove from the pan and serve or add about a pint of thickened gravy to the pan, turning all the meat so it gets covered, then serve...preferably with some good mash and green veg! The secret to good liver is not to over cook it! Same for kidneys too really, they're really good for breakfast, just lightly fried.
