"Stan the Man joins The Farm
Stan Collymore is to join celebrities on The Farm
Former footballer Stan Collymore is the final celebrity to sign up for rural reality show The Farm.
He will join David Beckham's former-PA Rebecca Loos on the new series from Five.
The other C-listers taking part are Lady Victoria Hervey, Paul Daniels and wife Debbie McGee, former rap star Vanilla Ice, ex-boyband singer Ritchie Neville, Scouse actress Margi Clarke and Jade Goody's ex Jeff Brazier.
For three weeks, the nine contestants will turn their backs on luxury living and face the harsh realities of life on a working farm.
They will have to muck out pigs, milk cows, gut chickens and pick droppings from sheep's bottoms during their time on the farm in deepest Wiltshire.
Collymore will see the TV show as a chance to rebuild his reputation after the shame of his "dogging" exploits and attack on former girlfriend Ulrika Jonsson.
Meanwhile Loos says she is determined to have fun on the farm.
"It will probably be weird for the first few days. But we'll get used to each other after a while. It will be like going to school camp," she said.
Lady Victoria was drafted in as a replacement for model Sophie Anderton, who dropped out at the last minute.
"I think the farm will bring about memories of childhood and boarding school in the English countryside and I can't wait," she said."
What odds that he tries to get into Lady Victoria's jodhpurs?
