I understand that a statue featuring our chairman flanked by 2 Shrimpers
''Legends'' is to be commissioned for the entrance to Fossets Farm.

Although the choice of Ron Martin is ''set in concrete'', fans will be invited
to vote for their favourite legends.

My votes would go to Steve Tilson and Stan Collymore.

How about a nice fountain with Alan McCormack and Ronnie Whelan ?

Ron Martin "set in concrete" has a certain appeal for sure.

I think it should be inter-active.
Each time a pound is put in a slot in Ron's mouth , "You Raise Me Up" is played and simultaneously his hair gets fuller and fuller.
It would be a beautiful sight....................

Dave Morley, effortlessly kicking it out of the stadium.
or just a massive sweatband in honour of broughton.
