Anyone know anything about this company?

I had some work done on my house (which seems all well) but the company that did it went into liquidation.
Stenfield wrote to me 3 times to tell me they could get me a refund.

Other than the letters being a little amateurish (one letter sent twice, starting "Dear Sir or Madam" despite having "Mister" on the letterhead), how can they get a refund from a company that in liquidation?

possibly by lodging a proof of debt to the liquidator ?

They will only pay a dividend to recognised creditors.

If you are owed money, have a valid credit note or CC judgement, have not lodged a claim with the liquidator and the company has not been fully dissolved yet, then the they may be able to recover something.

If any of the above do not apply then they will not be able to assist

BucketandSpade is your man on this really

I am not owed anything, I am satisfied with the work done and haven't made any sort of claim. So I'm puzzled.
