I notice that Jamie Clapham scored for Lincoln in their 4-3 defeat at the weekend. Was Jamie at Lincoln before Tilly became manager or did he sign Clapham? If he did indeed sign Clapham, that makes interesting reading as Tilly wasn't interested in Clapham last season when on trial at Roots Hall?

Clapham was already there (signed July 2010) and Sir Steve of Tilson took up the reins in October. Wikipedia is a wonderful thing

Tilly's comments about Clapham were over-played on here at the time. He obviously rated him or else he wouldn't have been interested in him in the first place. "Too short" read more to me at the time as "Not worth the amount he's looking for".

i see tilson has been looking in france again at players and has around 4 of them on trial at the moment, laurent, christophe anyone ha ha.

It's odd, I was reading through some posts from Lincoln fans on another Football Forum, and the general concensus is that they're crying out for a "big, dominant centre-half".

Plus ça change...
