Following plans being released for a brand new stadium, Waggot said: "There are several ingredients for creating a sustainable and successful club and owning your own ground is one of the main ingredients.
"A football club needs to squeeze every penny it possibly can out of its stadium both on match-days and non-match days in order to be able to invest on the pitch."

After agreeing the return to the Ricoh Arena: We are delighted to get this deal done and I am sure every supporter of Coventry City will be thrilled with this news.
“We are under no illusion what a difficult 12 months it has been for the supporters and that was uppermost in our thinking as we worked to get this deal done."
Speaking today about deciding to leave the club: "I have been living away from home for that period and feel it is now right to step away and allow the club to continue to progress.
"We sit a point off the top of the table, there is stability in the managerial and coaching situation and the club is back in its home city - all things I wanted to assist in achieving."
