Echo News Stoke City goalkeeper could extend spell with Southend United

Believe colllin is really close to able to play. Just needs some matcthime minutes to properly confirm ready and get match sharp. He was due to play a part in the senior cup although heard he felt a slight twinge in his hamstring in training but seemed ok hopefully. If bloody can extend it would be good bonus, he's improving each game and building rapport with the defence quite well. With Tuesdays cancellation it would be great if we can keep blindly while Collin gets more minutes in other games

I’m sorry but I don’t think we can accommodate a blind goalkeeper.

Must check what I write in future !! Thanks @Zeuse.
Hopefully you realise what I meant ☺
I've feeling the South end goalmouth of our once great pitch will look like Braille after 45 mins so it might be useful

We can bring a keeper in if our two aren't available for selection, even if under an embargo - is the way I understand it.

As such we surely have 2 options : a) extend Blondy's loan b) get someone else in.

For me Blondy is learning the game and improving. He has a top drawer save in him, but also has a number of faults with his game that need working on. He'll get that through experience and first team football. Do we keep him and let him learn, or do we switch him for a more experienced keeper who might not have that top drawer save, but is more solid overall?

Shame for Blondy though it is, I'd probably go for the latter, if that player can be identified.

No way, this guys a loose cannon but a brilliant shot stopper! My hands are tied weather he should stay or go.

So Collin is nearly fit, we may be able to extend Bloody and it would be great to keep Blindly

What about Blondy? i was impressed that he kept us in the cup the other week :Winking:
