So its heavily rumoured that the Stone Roses will announce a reunion tomorrow? What do people think? Anyone see them first time round?

Obviously money talks but I dont see it as a bad thing. The only worry is Ian Browns voice which has never been the greatest. Their debut is a classic and I actually think The Second Coming was a pretty good record too.

I have heard they are going to be supporting Northside and Top on a national tour.

I saw them at Wembley Arena on the Second Coming tour, the last show on british soil with Squire in the band (also MSP's first gig after Richey's disappearance). Apparently there's going to be a new album too, part of me is very excited about this, the other part is very dubious.

Not a huge fan, but I'd always hoped they'd retain their dignity (as The Jam and The Smiths have) and resist the lure of a mega-bucks reunion. Then again, as MK has already pointed out, they did a pretty good job of ******** on their own doorstep with the shows they played after Reni and Squire had left.

Before my time...but I am listening to see if I like them.
