Hi All,

There has been a bit of discussion in various threads in Chitchat regarding the potential streaming of Southend games of all sorts (Friendlies, League games etc).

Currently the only approved EFL method of streaming games is via iFollow. Leaving aside the quality or otherwise of that system that is the only legal method of viewing a game. There are undoubtedly other streaming methods available, some a bit dodgy and some, such as IPTV, are a grey area to us at the moment in terms of legality.

In order to protect Shrimperzone from any official criticism from either the Club or the EFL would you please not discuss openly any other means of streaming games other than on iFollow in future. If you choose to discuss anything via PM with fellow members that is fine, just no more in open discussion.

Many thanks in advance all.

RHB.

A very fair point.

A related one is that, according to livefootballontv.com the Swindon Town v Coventry City Friendly at 15:00 today was shown on Premier Sports 1.

Given that, there might be other legitimate options for us coming up in the future perhaps.
