Great article on Sturrock in todays Football League Paper - which is also a great weekly read, even at GBP 1.50 !

Outlines again what a great manager we have at the moment, especially when you consider the paragraph confirming that Sturrock is "one of Europes most qualified coaches (he assessed Jose Mourinho for the UEFA Pro Licence)

NB Also just heard about the shocking and sad news of the death of Gary Speed, at 42 a huge loss to football and my thoughts are with his family.

Might pick up a copy. Interesting about the Mourunho assessments.

Agreed with Speed comments, seemed such a nice bloke in every interview I ever saw. A model pro and was doing an awesome job with Wales. RIP Gary Speed

Sounds like Coughlan is doing the best apprenticeship available really. Also interesting how things didn't work with Widdrington. I didn't know that Sturrock was so highly qualified.

This is nonsense. Captain Birdseye told me so.
