First guest named for our SOUTHEND SUEPA SAVER SATURDAY coming up next weekend on our Twitter and Facebook pages - it's Peter Goy who played 118 times for us 1960-64 after siging from Arsenal. We believe that Peter, now aged 80, is our oldest living goalkeeper. Be sure to give Peter a great Roots Hall welcome when he steps on to the pitch before kick-off. News re our other guests to follow ................
 
Mervyn Cawston completes the goalkeeping foursome on Saturday.

And we also have a Brucie Bonus with Ken Jones, who played for us 1960-64 and is still in our top 50 all-time goalscorers list, also there to give the shot-stoppers some practice
 
Member no. 150 joined SUEPA today - a local lad from the '80's. Announced on our Facebook and Twitter pages and on the former you will find a full list of the 150. Two more new joiners already lined up to be announced tomorrow, the race to 200 is under way

Sincerely hope we'll get him back to Roots Hall in the Spring, and together with ex players and fans have a big retro party.
